The e-Haryana event jointly organised by Goverment of Haryana and Elets Technomedia Pvt Ltd on 7-8 February, 2014 at UT Guesthouse in Chandigarh.

eGovernance Training Programme

News regarding visit by the participants from various countries to study e-governance programmes.e-Governance Initiatives 
Twenty participants from various countries including South Africa, Ivory Coast, Afghanistan, Tanzania, Yemen, Myanmar, Mauritius, Republic of Mauritius, Laos and Sri Lanka are undergoing two months training programme in C-DAC, Mohali on e-Governance from 2nd December, 2013. As a part of this training programme, they visited Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (Hartron), State Nodal Agency of Haryana on 19th December 2013 to study the e-Governance initiatives and implementation in Haryana state and interact with the officers/consultants of Hartron.
All the participants were addressed by Sh. Vivek Atray, IAS, MD, Hartron cum ASIT, Haryana and informed them about the various initiatives taken up by Hartron for implementation of e-Governance projects in the state of Haryana. He highlighted the model being adopted in Haryana and due to its unique feature of integration of various departmental services and delivery channels by brand name “Haryana e-Seva” being created at village level to provide the services at the door steps of rural citizens of Haryana. This helps in bridging the digital divide between rural and urban population and suggested them this could be one of the models deployed in the developing countries. He also admired the enthusiasm of participants and eagerness to start e-governance programmes in their countries.


    


Hartron organized a 5 days workshop / training Programme from 6th May to 10th May 2013 at Hartron Bhawan, 73-76 Sector-2, Panchkula on Specialized Training for e-Governance Programme (STeP) on e-Governance Project life Cycle. The training is focused on capacity Building under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), Govt. of India. This Programme is first of its kind in the State of Haryana and is being delivered by National Institute for Smart Governance (NISG), Hyderabad. Senior officers from Various Departments of Govt. of Haryana participated in this programme.
